Cloudy skies expected on Saturday
The tail-end of a frontal system and the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies and some rains in Luzon and some parts of the Visayas on Saturday, according to a report by Philippine News Agency.
In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Bicol region and Eastern Visayas due to the tail-end of a frontal system.
It said the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera regions will have cloudy skies with light rains brought by the northeast monsoon.
The same weather system will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Mindanao and the rest of the Visayas will get partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by localized thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds headed northeast will blow over Luzon, fanning moderate to rough coastal waters.
Moderate to strong winds will also blow over the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao but headed east to northeast, causing moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds headed east to northeast and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 22°C to 30°C; Tagaytay City, 22°C to 27°C; Metro Cebu, 24°C to 29°C; Tacloban City, 24°C to 28°C; Metro Davao, 24°C to 31°C; and Zamboanga City, 24°C to 33°C.
