Marikina assists fire-affected families

Marikina City - "We understand that the assistance we provide may not be enough, but it can help in starting anew," said MAAN TEODORO, expressing her words of comfort and support to the families affected by separate fires in Camacho Phase 1, Brgy. Nangka, and Upper Bulelak, Brgy. Malanday, recently.

The Honorable Congresswoman, along with MARCY R. TEODORO, visited and checked on the fire victims to ensure that the government addresses their needs. They extended financial aid, as well as essential items such as mats, blankets, pillows, along with grocery packs, bags, and notebooks for the children.

"No matter what unfortunate events befall our families, what's important is that we don't lose hope in our hearts. Let's not forget that family is what matters. The important thing is that we stay together," emphasized MARCY R. TEODORO.

MARCY R. TEODORO also assured the families that they would receive construction materials such as cement, roofing sheets, wood, and similar supplies to help them start rebuilding their homes promptly.

The affected families expressed deep gratitude for the government's compassionate outreach and care. They also appreciated the swift response of the emergency response teams during the fire incidents in their communities. The fires in Camacho Phase 1 and Upper Bulelak were contained within approximately 30 minutes.

In times of adversity, the unity and support from the government provide solace and hope to the affected families, assuring them that they are not alone in their journey to recovery.
