On the second consecutive day, Congresswoman Maan Teodoro and Mayor Marcy Teodoro joined forces in serving the residents of Barangay Marikina Heights by inaugurating not only street lighting, but also pathway and drainage rehabilitation.

The alleyways and drainage of the Kalayaan Homeowners Association have been restored, and the Ilaw ng Pag-asa (Light of Hope) was opened to the neighborhood associations, providing them with a sense of safety and security.

With the assistance of the funding from Cong. Maan to the local government, not only the major roads but also the alleyways or callejons in front of the residents' homes are now well lit, providing safety and security to every resident in Marikina.

The city councilors, Marikina Heights Barangay Captain Greg Punzalan, Marikina City Chief Of Police Col. Earl Castillo, and other city officials also attended the gathering to show their support for the initiative. The project aims to provide the community with a better quality of life by improving the safety and cleanliness of the streets and ensuring that everyone has access to well-lit pathways and efficient drainage systems.

By working together, Cong. Maan and Mayor Marcy Teodoro hope to continue their efforts to enhance the lives of the residents of Marikina Heights and to provide them with a safer and more comfortable living environment.
