Barangay Malanday residents celebrate land title awards

Residents of Barangay Malanday, Marikina, expressed their happiness as they received land titles for the properties where their homes stand. The beneficiaries, who belong to various homeowners' associations, including Samahang Magkakapitbahay ng Purok III HOA Inc. Phase 2-B, Samahang Magkakapitbahay ng Purok IV Phase 1 HOA Inc., Rainbow HOA Inc. Phase 1, and Sanchez Village HOA, celebrated this significant milestone.

The land title awarding ceremony was led by Mayor Marcy Teodoro, who has made housing security for Marikina's families a top priority throughout his tenure. Since assuming office as the City Mayor in 2016, Mayor Marcy has spearheaded efforts to address housing challenges and ensure that once-called informal settlers have access to land and proper housing under government programs.
