"We celebrate and commemorate their heroism and the celebration of their lives - those who were once sons, fathers, mothers, siblings. We celebrate them today as our own family. We thank the families who are here today because they gave their parents, siblings, children to serve others to ensure that our community remains peaceful and harmonious," Mayor Marcy expressed.
Congresswoman Maan Teodoro, the guest of honor and keynote speaker for the event, also paid tribute and expressed gratitude to the fallen officers.
"To serve and protect. This was the mandate they upheld until the end. We are profoundly grateful that they devoted their lives for the peace of Marikina City.
