Marikina ensures safety and security for palarong pambansa
Marikina City - With only 15 days left before the highly anticipated Palarong Pambansa, Mayor Marcy Teodoro led a meeting to address the safety and security concerns of the delegates, athletes, and venues involved in the event. Present at the meeting were Eastern Police District (EPD) Director P/BGen. Wilson Asueta, P/Col Jessie Tamayao, DDDO, EPD, Marikina City Chief of Police P/Col. Earl Castillo, and city officials.
Mayor Marcy emphasized the importance of ensuring a well-organized and secure environment, particularly as high-ranking officials of the country are expected to visit for the annual sporting event. The meeting focused on meticulous planning to ensure order and safety throughout the duration of the games.
